Description
nagarider Store An antique nice patinated keris hilt made of deer horn showing a long haired and long nosed squatting figure. The orign of this type of handle lies probably in the region of Cirebon at the north-west coast of Jawa although a connection to similar types around the area of Lampung (Sumatera) cannot be denied. The beautiful shaped hilt has a nice shiny touching patina, its carvings are fine and deep and except the usual oldness traces for such an antique item (see photos) the hilt in an excellent condition. high : appr. 9,0 cm weight: appr. 100,0 gr.
