Description Outstanding antique Prayer Farchalo Kazak,size 3.10x 6.5,circa double dated 1338 which equavalent to 1920 ,from southwest Caucasian. This Kazak makes an immedite and striking impression; there is no appraent like between the motifs. The white central medallioin a rectangle ablaze with latch-hooks is a small island of light against vivid red field. It is ornamented with four tulips in cruciform arrange . The rug is strewn with many other motifs;beneath the prayer arches,(large blue ,white, light brown lozenges),rosette,hour-glass and ram's-horn. The principal border is unusual: a series of superimposed latch-hooks,like stacked wine glasses,on a gold ground. The two adjacent guard strips bear a chain of red ' S' motifs on blue and are flanked by two red bands with yellow and green serrations. This piece is in excellent condition with very slight scatter lower pile,slight oxidized browns,kpsi of 7x8,complete rug with original ends and edges. No hole, stain, bleeding, rotten or odor.
