Description
This is your opportunity to own a piece of old west history! This Montana bar business closed two months ago, rendering this beautiful bar in need of a great home. Included is the back bar, which is 20' long, 17" deep, and 102" tall. Each end consists of large decoritive columns. The center has a large gold-flaked mirror with four antique fixtures for lights. The bottom back bar consists of three drawers and four cabinet doors for storage. The front bar is also 20' long, 44" tall, and 28" at its widest point which is at each end. It also has decoritive moldings as seen in the pictures and is made of gorgeous cherry wood. Some years ago, pictures were sent to an appraisal house in New York and they were certain it is a Brunswick bar. For it's history, this piece is circa 1890's and was transported by steamboat via the Missouri River to a new town on the Montana-North Dakota frontier called Mondak. As that town disappeared into the wind, it was then brought by wagon to the town of Antelope, Montana in 1930. It remained in pristine condition until 1950 when the right hand side of the mirror was cracked when a patron threw a shot glass missing his intended target. The buyer is responsible for dismantling and shipping for this item. Please email with any questions regarding this bar and payment. Thanks for looking.
