This pie jagger or crimper is hand carved out of  whale bone with a heart and a house on the handle. The wheel is pinned through with a whale bone pin. This piece is very finely made and is in excellent shape no damage of any kind whatsoever. It was made in the 19th century somewhere between 1850 and 1890. These are quite rare and dont come up for sale very often. They were made by sailors on whaling ships while out on long ocean voyages to bring home to their sweethearts. The piece measures 6 1/4" long by 1 1/8" wide by 3/16" thick. The wheel is 1 1/4" in diameter. Buyer pays actual shipping and insurance Place a Bid!
