We were informed by the owner that it was used for this purpose and it is fueled by wood or coal for heat and cooking. It was heavily constructed out of 1/8'' thick steel which is double plated in all areas which contain the fire and held together with large screws, nuts and hand hammered rivets. This stove is a masterpiece of design which can be used to heat a small boat, room or other confined space. This is one-of-a-kind if you want a heater and/or stove which was built to last practically forever, has a stunning look and is a historical artifact. It comes with a 2'' in diameter x 33'' in length stove pipe which snugly fits over the top of the stove, the dimensions of the stove are 10''x13''x15'' and it weighs 44 pounds.
