Description
Vintage WW2 USN Ships Binnacle Compass An authentic WW2 USN Binnacle with gimbaled 10 inch diameter compass. You can see from my photos that this setup is in great shape. . ....Base of ships binncle is solid brass, even the areas that are painted navy grey. The only steel parts on this binnacle are the large combinsating spheres used to adjust the magnetic compass. A real maritime collectors item with a very fair starting bid. Binnacle stands 53 inches tall and is 34 inches across the spheres tip to tip. From what I can see inside all the original parts are still present.......
