Description   This is an old handmade model ship that looks to be made mostly from wood, twine and a little metal (push boat / dinghy supports, and anchor chain.). Measures appx. 20 inches long by about 22 inches tall. Can't imagine the hours that went into building this thing. Extremely well detailed right down to the little wooden pulleys. Dont think the pics show it but there is also a little mermaid bow spirt on the front. How about the little red and green running light boards on the rope ladders? The only issues I can see are a couple missing lines from end of boom, a pulley has come loose from end of the boom, and anchor chain has come loose from anchor on port side. All easily fixed. It is however very dusty from years of display without being brushed off. From others we have had, seen or sold it looks like 50's or very early 60's era If you want any more pics or have any questions just ask.
