There are 5 Compartments - two of which are Divided on top & all are 2 1/2" deep. This Unique Sewing Box is Beautifully Dovetailed on all four corners of each of the five Compartments & it is in Outstanding Original condition! It is quite clean, VERY Stout & appears to have been used very little. The Wood is Gorgeous & comes from a smoke free environment. It is stamped in the bottom compartment - Made By Singer - & there is something else stamped under that but I can't make it out (please see photo below). There will be plenty of space for ALL of your sewing notions - no more digging for "a needle in a haystack" - so to speak! I've never seen one of these types of Sewing Boxes that was this NICE & it comes with it's Original - Well preserved Singer Assembly Instructions!
