A lovely "BRIDE'S BASKET" with a gold wash step design bowl and pedestal base. The only Hallmark is the word "SHEFFIELD" on the bottm. This measures 6 7/8"high to the rim, and 14 1/2" high to the center of the handle. It is 10 1/2" across, by 2 1/2" deep, with a 4 7/8" round base and weighs approx., 17.20oz.   As you will see in the photos, this has a Hexagon shape, with semi circle raised sides, giving it a delicate scalloped design. At the point of each semi circle, is a lovely Pierced design that goes around the sides. The handle is lovely, with hand engraved designs of LEAF & SWIRLS, as I try to show in the pics, and this sits on a step design pedestal base.  This shows some light wear to the gold, in the base of the basket, but in no way deters from its beauty. It just needs a little more polishing, which we will leave to younger & stronger hands. What a lovely piece to serve on your buffet or sweets table!   Only serious BUYER'S please!
