I am listing a Wonderful Rare Victorian Celluloid Box & Sewing Tools!   This Wonderful Box is Wood Base with a Lovely Celluloid Design.  Burgundy brown base with Portrait of a High Class Lady wearing a hat, on top.  The top has a few hairlines on the left bottom side.  The Left side of the box has some chipping. Please See Photo.  Ornate Brass front clasp & Hinges.  All work well.  Below the hinges is a raised hand painted floral design. The bottom is covered in paper.   Overall good condition.  The inside is lined with pink silk. There is some fraying & stains. Tools Included   Lovely Antique Sterling Silver Thimble.  Pretty engraved Country scene. House, Mountains, Sun & Trees.  Space for Monogram.   Marked STERLING 8 on the outside. Inside has The Simons Brothers 'S' Hallmark.  A Little out of round with no holes or cracks.  Good Condition. Ornate Sterling? Silver Thimble.  No hallmarks.  4 point star on top. No holes or dents. Lightweight.  Good Condition.  Antique Sterling Silver Sewing Scissors.   Ornate Sterling Silver handles.  Marked STAHL ?GESCHMIEDET VERNICKELT? on the blade.  At the base of the handles are more marks.  I can make out 925.  Blades are sharp.  They open a little tight.  Approx.4 1/8".  Good Condition. Carved Antique bone Handle tiny end crochet hook.  Approx. 4 3/4" Good Condition Antique plain buttom hook.  Approx. 4 1/4" Good Condition Tiny Antique glass bottle.  No cork.  Maybe used for oil or perfume?  Approx. 2 1/4"  Good Condition Small Antique Celluloid? lidded jar.  Good Condition. Approx 3 3/4" around & 3/4" tall. 6 Paua Abalone or Mother of Pearl Shell button set. Silver metal flower middle.
