Description
A great early and very large work by this important artist - Djardie Ashley. This painting measures 122 x 43cm in size and is in excellent condition with only a couple of very minor areas of loss. The painting depicts 3 pythons and originates from Millingimbi. The artist was born in 1950 and died in 2007 and is highly regarded and held in these collections: Art Gallery of Western Australia, Perth., Flinders University Art Museum, Adelaide., National Gallery of Australia, Canberra., National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne., Museum of Contemporary Art, Ramingining Collection, Sydney., Queensland Art Gallery, Brisbane., The Holmes a Court Collection, Perth. This work along with the others that I am offering today were deaccessioned from a local gallery. This is a great bark. For this piece it will cost $67 AUD to post anywhere in the world and $29 within Australia. Please make sure to click on " VIEW SELLER'S OTHER ITEMS".
