Description
Very Vintage Pedler 'Hoosier' Metal (Silverplate?) Clarinet While Harry Pedler & Co. made cheap clarinets primarily for students, Pedler himself made the finest metal clarinets that were especially prized by jazz musicians. This is one of those. This instrument dates from about 1919 and is clearly marked Pedler and Hoosier, Elkhart, Indiana. It also has a serial number, 20956. This piece breaks into three pieces. It needs some TLC, but we've been told it can be restored to its original resonance. For the musician or the collector, this is an unusual and prized piece.
