Verdure Aubusson Wall Tapestry 17th Century Impressive original Verdure Aubusson with floral paters, a bird sitting in a palm tree, a bouquet of orange tulips in the foreground and a castle in the background Hand-woven wool Origin: The Netherlands (most likely Flemish) 17th century Condition: the tapestry is in an overall good condition. The fabric still has deep, beautiful colours. Restorations at some places. The tapestry is trimmed with a new boarder in various shades of yellow-blown and orange. There is one hole in the boarder. The back is lined with linen. There are hooks at the back and the tapestry is ready to hang.
