Acid tests positive for 18K gold. Signed on back in two places in a language that I cannot figure out (see photos). Pin is two parts, the main part with the clasp on back has a c-clasp closure & measures 1 3/8" wide. It has two small chains suspended from it that end in a V and hold the Peacock that is hinged and can be worn to show the whole peacock to show an emblem. It measures 1 12" tall & 3/4" wide. The brooch altogether measures 2 1/2" tall. There is some slight enamel loss to the brooch but it is otherwise in good condition. See my other listings for more great items!
