Description
Japanese Washi Woodblock Print: Japanese Washi is the traditional hand made paper used in Japan for hundreds of years and is made using fibers from Kozo (Mulberry) bark, Gampi, a bush found in the mountains of Japan, and Mitsumata, A bush that originated in China. The long fibers of Gampi and Mitsumata are beaten, boiled, bleached and then mixed with Kozo fibers, to give the papers its distinctive appearance.
