It is most likley carved for a high priest (shaman). These seals and or printers were used to print on the human body and or textiles. This is absolutely the greatest I have ever seen! The condition is excellent as seen in the photos. There is some encrustation and very minimal ware.It is 4 1/4 in. at tallest point.  3 1/2 in. at widest point, and 2 1/2 in. x 3 in. at the bottom of the seal.These items are from a collection put together 25 years ago on St. Thomas U.
