The box has the initials F.B.F factory engraved on the front lower edge below the key hole.This size of box was also used as a Cigar Box/Humidor by Tiffany Studios.This one does not have either a Jewel Box or Cedar Lining...just the beautiful striated green glass.All of the glass panels are in mint condition with the exception of one very small crack to the bottom edge of the right hand side panel...this is so small that it is hardly noticeable (please see pictures) and it cannot be seen from the outside and measures only approx 1/2"...The key to the lock is also missing but this is typical as very few of these boxes managed to survive complete with their key. This is a very beautiful and impressive Tiffany Studios Box in Superb Condition and is one of the largest that they produced.It's rare to find one in this superb condition.Correctly engraved on the base 'Tiffany Studios - New York' and the number 80 or possibly 89 number....this is a very rare piece indeed and a wonderful investment.
