The table is typical of Victorian style furniture. It is made from burr walnut which is not only strong, but has a beautiful grain. The table has 2 extendable leaves which allows 10 guests to be seated comfortably. These 2 leaves can be extended accordingly to suit the occasion by a special winding mechanism. When completely wound in, the table is transformed into a normal-sized oval dining table. The detachable table top piece can then be stored away until it is required. Four elegantly carved legs hold up the large table and are on wheels. The table top has exquisite marquetry decorations. These regal decorations include bouquets and strings of beautiful flowers, ribbons and vases. Condition This table is in extremely good condition and has been well cared for.
