After shining a flash light inside the violin I had noticed a piece of paper(about  the size of 4 address labels)that is worn out in a couple of areas. I put 2 pics up but I have to get a borrow a better camera this week to get an accurate picture.The label reads Anto??? (those letters are worn)Stradivarius Cremonenlis (The next line has someones name written one a slant on a different piece of paper that reads JB BLACK but I can be off slighly but I had 5 other people come to the same name)   That nameappears to cover a little bit of the next line that reads Faciebat Anno 1730(the 30 is scripted differently/different style) The next line is has smaller  print and reads Made in Germany ??15 Slighltly to the right and below the 1730 is a circle that has  a double outline with a capital A and a cross slighlt above than a capital S As far as HOW  OLD  I DO NOT KNOW-I HAVE NOT BOUGHT THIS VIOLIN TO AN APPRAISER It also would appear that someone had refinished the violin.As seen in photos it has alot of seperation and a good amount of splits/cracks.The neck also seems to hve been refinished.ONCE AGAIN I'M NOT POSITIVE.Hopefully someone can better tell the violins background from tghe pics and info given.LASTLY,THIS VIOLINS BRIDGE AND OTHER PARTS DO NOT SEEM TO BE ORIGINAL.THE BRIDGE IS NOT GLUED DOWN AND IS MADE IN THE USA.THAT IS JUST MY GUESS AND NOT A PROFESSIONALS OPINION AS STATED THRUOUT.VIOLIN AS IS DOES HOLD TUNE AND PLAYS.IDEALLY  I'D SUGGEST TO BRING TO A PRO TO HAVE SET UP.IF ANYTHING  IT'LL BE A PIECE SOMEONE CAN PLAY WITH OR HANG ON A WALL.
