Description
Steinway Console Piano with Matching BenchThis is an exceptionally old and unusual piano. It seems to be something between a spinet and a full upright. My guess (and that is all I can do) is that it comes from the mid 1870s and it is made out of mahogany. There is a picture of the bass bar that has the stamp of "22/9/75". If you look on the inside untouched original panel (Pictured) you can see how old this piano must be. It comes with its matching bench. The extra legs are currently unattached but pictured. This piano has been in storage for some time. As you can see, someone refinished the piano in the 1930s and attached that period mirror. This piano is playable and not insanely out of tune. All keys still work as well as the pedals. It sounds powerful and big. However, this needs a proper restoration to bring it up to its full potential. It is available for local pick up. For $100 we will crate it, For $50 we will palette it and shrink wrap it. The buyer would be responsible for shipping it.Dimensions:Width: 60"Height: 47"Depth: 27"This piano belonged to a friend's uncle. He bought it at auction many years back but no longer has room for it. It currently resides in North West Philadelphia.GOOD LUCK!
