These items are all from an old JACKSON Tennessee pharmacy, and were found stored in the attic, where they sat untouched for MANY years. A wonderful set of 4 old 1800's LUG (label under glass) drugstore bottles with stoppers. Glass labels are missing. This auction is for all 4 bottles pictured, including one of the largest I have seen, measuring over 12.25" tall, including the stopper. Other 3 bottles measure 10.5" 10" and 6.75" tall. Bottoms are embossed: PAT'D MARCH 6TH 1894 / F&S / ST LOUIS MO. These are being sold just as found. None of these have been cleaned or polished, hence the residue inside some of the bottles. All 4 display beautifully, and are in excellent condition. Stopper fits tightly into necks, for a watertight seal. Bottles and stoppers have no nicks, bruises, chips, cracks, or repairs. All of the stoppers are easily removeable, except for the smallest bottle, whose stopper is stuck. Guaranteed to be old, and not a reproduction.
