Zulu iwesa knobkerrie war club spear' Description First time offered from my private collection is this superb mid 19th.C. Zulu Iwesa, or knobkerrie. The massive head would denote that this 'kerrie was made well before the Bombatha rebellion, since the heads on 'kerries made afterwards would be no larger than to be able to fit in the owners mouth! The head on this superb 'kerrie measures a big 11 inches in circumference and the haft has 5 bands of copper/brass wirework in perfect condition. 24 inches in length. Some silly wanker drilled a hole at the bottom of the haft, probably to insert a sling to wrap around the wrist. (Note to silly wankers - DO NOT send me dopey emails chastising me for using the word "wanker." I will post them on this page and the world will know YOU as a poof wanker.)
