The GOLD REDS PLUM BLUES GREENS YELLOWS PINK ORANGE radiate away from the GRAPES to the masses. The artist used a 2 tones technique to add dimension and depth to the overall design. Vitrail ancien. This stained glass panel was part of a collection of 4 stained glass panels made in Grenoble, France by the painter glass master Antoine Bessac of the Ateliers Bessac. The Ateliers were founded in 1860 by the artist's grandfather. One of the panels is signed by the artist (WHEAT SHEAF stained glass panel -sold). These stained glass panels were installed until recently on Le Centre Missionnaire Oblat in Montreal, QC, Canada. True masterpiece, this stained glass panel was completely restored in Montreal, Quebec, Canada by Vitrum Opus, specialists in restoration of stained glass. The lead cames were re-soldered, reinforcement bars (T bars) were added to increase the stability and a zinc frame was added all around the stained glass for the same reason. We were assured that the 4 stained glass panels were done by the same artist, using the same technique and the same antique glass. This stained glass has PRIVACY GLASS. It would look wonderful in any type of environment especially in a Vineyard or in a wine cellar. It would greatly compliment a wine cellar or a winery. We have this item on consignment from its owner.
