This has a nice tight weave with a braided handle on the cover. The small oval basket measures 1 3/4 inches tall, 5 1/4 inches long and is 3 1/2 inches wide. The basket is in really great conditionw ith no holes or splits. The outside is a little darker than the inside from age but no stains. What a great old basket to add to any collection. I have several old primitive items up for auction thisa week that came from the same old house.
