(U.S Only) Up for your consideration I am offering this beautiful Singer Featherweight 221-1 Sewing Machine. Complete with Case, Original Manual and many attachments and notions. Serial number AJ357353 indicates that this machine was made between 1947-50. It has been in the family for many years and it was professionally service about 2 weeks ago so it's in perfectly working order. The machine and the case with inside tray are all in great cosmetic condition. The decals on the machine are deep gold with no silvering....nice rich gold with minimal wear to the filigree. Considering that this machine is almost 60 years old, you will see the normal evidence of wear and little sewing marking on the surface but you will have to really look for them. I tried to capture them on the picture but it's hard to do it in normal light. The motor runs strong and sews a very nice even stitch (see picture). Truly a collector's item, this machine will look beautiful on display or will give you many more years of dependable sewing. I prefer paypal as method of payment.
