SILVER FRAME. 1890's    The portrait of this beautiful lady is hand painted on ivoire.  This is a stunning-looking lady dressed in 18th century clothing.  Her hairdo is reminiscent of that of the lady-in-waiting of princesses and queens.  The painting is SIGNED and framed in silver (stamped for quality).  The frame is adorned with clusters of pyrites which gives it a very special glittering appearance, but still in keeping with a certain refinement.  The back side is lined with a thin layer of mother of pearl.   We date this piece to the end of the nineteenth century.  It is in excellent vintage condition.Size: 4.8 cm  x 4 cm  (2" x 1 5/8")weight: 15.1gGuaranteed to please as are all of our items.  Our Store does not deal in industrialized, reproduced or mass produced jewelry.
