On the obverse side: A bust of Volusian.  On the reverse side: An image of Mount Gerizim with the Holy Temple and ancient Greek writing, all on an eagles back.  Mount Gerizim is one of two mountains near the city of Nablus.  Israelites would cast curses from Mount Ebal, and cast blessings from Mount Gerizim.  Mount Gerizim is Holy to the Samaritans who believe it to have been the true location chosen by Yahweh for the Holy Temple, ruins of the temple remain on the top of Mt.
