Musical Russian Imperial Royal Danish Jubillee Egg with matching Pendant Necklace < center> Musical Russian Imperial Royal Danish Jubillee Egg with matching Pendant Necklace. Egg is cast of a heavy metal, with 22k gold finished mountings, finished in creamy white marbling enamel with tanslucent Ruby Red enamel accents. Surmounted with the jeweled Imperial Danish Elephant crown. Set with dozens of jewel cut Austrian crystal gemstones. Inner comaprtment enameled in a matching white marble enamel. . Egg itself measures approx: 9.25" in height. This is a very heavy piece, weighs approx: 4 pounds. This Egg is an authentic reproduction of a 19th century Faberge original design. Bow egg pendant is set with dozens of crystal diamond gemstones. Both the large egg and pendant are Hallmarked: "ROMANOV". Egg pendant is enameled a translucent ruby red, with 22K Gold finished fittings, set within the matching trellis pattern are jewel cut Austrian gemstones. Matching 20"heavy linked chain adjusts to a further 3", making a 23" length necklace. Necklace comes in red velvet gold drawstring pouch. Has lobster claw clasp. Presentation gift Box is engraved with the Romanov Double Headed Eagle, and "Moscow & St. Petersburg". Condition is new. Quality MUSIC BOX movement plays the classic melodic "Music of the Night" from Phantom of the opera. Although not antique it has the appearance of being so. Condition is new, however the egg is dated on its base 1903, and is an authorized authentic reproduction masterpiece of the original Carl Faberge design. Artisans from the Hermitage and Winter Palace museums and others, upon commission, will replicate a work of art or painting. (The original Egg was originally presented by Tsar Nicolas II to his mother Empress Marie Feodorovna in 1903).
