This is a wonderful and rare example of the Blossom Pattern tea pot by Georg Jensen, superbly designed and crafted with the side handle and lid with the flower / blossom. The teapot has a wonderful patina with all-over gently hammered finish, beautifully carved and polished side handle and standing on three beaded feet. The teapot stands just over 8 inches / 200 mm high and just over 8 inches / 200 mm wide to the end of the handle. It is also very heavy weighing 630 grams, so well over half a kilo. The underside is clearly marked:- 925.S for sterling silver GJ being the mark for Georg Jensen used between 1933 - 1945 'Denmark' and 'Sterling' '2 C' being the model number and size.
