Hello and welcome to my auction. :) This auction is for a very delightful set of Ransburg blue ball shakers. The pattern is "Asters on Blue". This set of shakers is from Era I in the Ransburg Collection. Era I is from the 1930's through the 1950's. They measure 3.5" x 3.5" x 3". The base paint is in excellent condition and barely worn. The pattern is also in great condition. They still look awesome for their age, very big, bold and beautiful. There are no chips or cracks the shakers are structurally sound. They look like they just got off the show room floor. These shakers have the perfect mint condition vintage look! These Ransburg ball shakers are super nice and they just might be what you're looking for to add to your Ransburg Collection or they could be a fine pair to start a new Ransburg Collection. These shakers are very beautiful and a really wonderful example of the beautiful pottery and vivid artwork created and hand painted by the excellent artisans of the Ransburg Company!!! My items will arrive very clean and ready to display or use. I do not believe in the "let the new owner clean it" theory. My motto is "the best are cleaner than the rest". I will never list a gross filthy untouchable item!!! I spend a good amount of time cleaning each and every Ransburg piece prior to listing them on eBay. Each piece goes through a cycle of very skilled and deliberate cleaning methods. I am not a seller that is too lazy to clean their items before listing on eBay. I would prefer to receive a super clean item. Wouldn't you? I only sell the cleanest Ransburg items. Many times the Ransburg pieces I find are in a very neglected state. I enjoy bringing these Ransburg items back to their former glory and brilliant splendor. Our items are never repainted or retouched. Occasionally we do buy items that have been retouched or repaired in some way. We always inform you of this or any other flaws. We are extremely picky when we describe an item. We will list the tiniest of flaws. Flaws that the average collector might not even notice. I am not one of "those" sellers who in their auctions state something to the effect of "I will leave cleaning to the new owner because this item is fragile". That's not me and in my opinion it is just a poor excuse for being a lazy seller. Bringing a Ransburg piece back to it's former glory is an art and it takes time. You will discover that items purchased from Hodge444 are shiny clean works of art (as they should be). I will never list a filthy item. I present each piece as I would like to have it presented to me. You will enjoy the care I take in your item as soon as you unpack it. You will not be disappointed!!! Shipping and packing? Good question. All items are packed very safely for shipping. I pack each item as I would like it packed for me, safely.
