Estonia was a part of the Russian Empire until 1918.  AUTHENTICITY GUARANTEED FOR LIFE                                          EMPIRE STYLE                                                "AMPIR" STYLE  Outstanding quality solid silver 5 pieces tea set on the tray - (6 pieces total). Tallinn, late 18th - early 19th century. Excellent original condition with minimum amount of normal wear (some minor normal scratches and couple of very minor, insignificant dents - I only have to mention this because this is an eBay sale). This set is very difficult to photograph -  all dark spots you are seeing in the pictures is just a reflection and  tarnishing -  need good polishing. Old repair on the creamer -  hardly noticeable. The silver band on the coffee pot wooden handle is probably an old repair.  NO ANY OTHER PROBLEMS - JUST A NORMAL AMOUNT OF WEAR. Original wooden handles and finials are in good antique condition. Original gilding inside of tea pot is in excellent condition. Each piece is marked under the base with the set of  silver marks for Tallinn, (late 18 th - early 19th century town mark - the cross), and maker marks MG - for Mering Ioghan Gottfrid . According to Postnikova - Loseva book Mering was Tallinn silversmith, 1790 - 1818. Each piece is also marked under the base with some scratch marks and scratched initials "MD". Sugar bowl is marked with the same marks, but from inside. 1. Tea pot - about 6 1/4 in. - 16 cm. tall at the finial - about 20+ troy oz (630 gr) 2. Coffee pot - about 8 1/8 in. - 20 7/10 cm. tall at the finial - about 26 troy oz (800 gr) 3. Sugar bowl with the lid - about 5 3/8 in. - 13 6/10 cm. tall at the finial - about 19 troy oz. (590 gr) 4. Oversize serving dish - candy dish - about 4 in tall and 11 1/4 in. wide at the handles (10 2/10 cm X 28 6/10 cm) - about 22 troy oz. (680 gr) Antique Russian silver gallery tray is not original to the set, but from about same period and go very well with the style. Tray is marked on the front with the set of Russian silver marks for Moscow , 1804,  the maker mark is worn off, part of the date is also worn off, but you can clearly see "..04" - for 1804 and the St. George Moscow city mark.  Style of Moscow city mark - St. George  -  is for 18th - very early 19th century.  Marked 84 on each handle.  Also was restamped with early 20th century Polish import silver marks and Polish lombard (pawn shop) mark -  tray was sold in Poland in 1st half of 20th century. Later presentation inscription on the back of the tray - from the 1st half of 20th century - see pictures. The tray is about 19 3/4 in.(50 3/10 cm.) long with the handles and about 14 3/8 in.
