Each earring is in the form of female breasts suspended from a square bezel. The bezel is encircled with twisted gold wire and set with iridescent green glass. A suspension loop allows the earrings to be worn. This is an outstanding example of Roman jewelry-making from the eastern Empire. The earrings are skilfully crafted and of the highest quality.
