War when things looked pretty bad for our country., legal size document dated 1778., Worcester County., autographed by LEVI LINCOLN a famous patriot.  Document concerns official guardianship for a young boy that will be taken care of until a lawful age.  The estate of the deceased relative will help pay for his keep, etc. His name was Ebenezer Turner., who was the minor age 7 years old from Edward Turner of Templeton, Massachusetts.  AUTOGRAPHED BY MINUETMEN OF APRIL 19, 1775Personally autographed by LEVI LINCOLN and JOSEPH WHEELER as the Registar.  ~~~Levi Lincoln graduated from Harvard 1772., Representative from Massachusetts. JOINED THE MINUTEMEN IN CAMBRIDGE., admitted to the Committee of Safety 1775.  He was a Delegate to the state Constitutional Convention in 1779.  [ HE HELPED TO SET UP THE STATE OF MASSACHUSETTS ] Representative to the early Congress.  He was appointed the Attorney General of the United States by Pres. Thomas Jefferson, then Secretary of State.  Lt. Gov. of Massachusetts and then Governor of the state. Appointed by Pres. Madison to the Supreme Court but declined due to his failing eyesight.  Much more, a very important American patriot of the Revolutionary period. Joseph  Wheeler, , Ashby.  Private, Capt. Samuel Stone's co. of Minute-men, Col.
