It has been treasured is in very good condition for its age,showing some edge wear and a couple of small tears. I am including a newspaper clipping dated January 24th 1993 of the  historical importance of Francis H. Pierpont in the forming of West Virginia which includes a picture of him on the porch of his home in Fairfield,West Virginia. Do not let this wonderful Historical Quilt slip Away.
