Up for auction is a very early coin silver soup tureen in repousse pattern by Samuel Kirk from Baltimore, MD. This is the earliest piece of Kirk I ever seen Kirk started his business in 1817 and this piece was made in 1824. It has the date mark for the year 1824. The same mark is shown in the book Silver in Maryland please seen the last picture it shows the mark from the book and it is identical to the marking under piece. It is in excellent condition no scratches, dents or problems of any kind. It is monogrammed. It is 8 ¼” wide and 7” tall. I have 10 days money back return policy if the item is not as described.
