The scroll came from Morocco and is Hand written by one scribe in the original Hebrew Language on soft Golden brown Deer parchment. The scroll is very well preserved, according to it writing its most likely from the mid 1700s. Scrolls on deer parchment are no longer made and the process of these scrolls have been lost over the centuries. The parchment holds its ink well and the letters remain black and easy to read. Panes are tightly sewn together with natural animal string. The scroll is approx. 7 inches in height x 15 feet long. Included with the Esther scroll comes a very old wooden handle that seems to be the original handle of the scroll. This is an opportunity to own a genuine piece of history as a family heirloom and a stunning display item for your home.
