This was originally purchased from an upstate New York auction. It is from a private collection of a lady who was reported to be in her late 80's. I was told that it is the original paint. This bowl has a crack all the way across, which has been glued and then one on the lip of the bowl. Even with its flaws, it is still an outstanding primitive piece for display. It is out of round and has worm burrows and a tiny hole in the center and alot of cut marks. It apparately was a much loved and used bowl. It measures 9.25" across one way and 9" the other and stands 2.5" tall. These bowls are getting harder to find, so don't miss your chance to own one.
