The collector's information date this piece to 300 B.C.  According to wikipedia the Vicus were around from 1000 BC to 300 AD so the latest it could be is 300 A.D.  He paid $1800 in the 80's.  I've taken enough photos to tell its story visually.  It's  8" tall  at the top of the head and  6 3/4" tall at the spout.   The base has a diameter of 6".
