This piece is not a replica, it is original from the Art Deco Period.   It is in perfect condition.  The onyx base has a smal chip on the top right side, there is no damage other than that. The figure is signed on the onyx base but it is really hard to photograph and it reads " Prof. Poertzel". I bought this figure at auction and on the invoice says that this piece was originally sold at Christies on may 16th 1992 for 3600 gbp but I cant confirm this as I dont have the catalog and I couldn't find it anywhere, I did receive an email from an ebay letting me know that on Christie's South kensington Sale 9386 of may 16th 2002, there was a likely signed theme that sold for 3535 pounds, perhaps the auction house made a mistake when cataloging this piece and changed the dates.   This is a great example of  art deco sculpture.     It measures 9.5" tall.   SHIPPING: Please contact me before bidding for shipping costs.
