Description
Excellent Modern Glamour!Preferred by professional interior designers for years, this remarkable & fabulous pair of end or side tables, with high-quality construction of heavy-gauge polished aluminum. Each measures 22 in. diameter x 21 in. tall. (Very) thick 3/4 in. green-tinted glass tops rest on polished mirror-finish aluminum top surfaces. Tint to glass gives the top surfaces a deep, sophisticated glow, with mirror-quality reflection from the polished surface underneath. Bottoms have rounded edge and welded-closed underside. In excellent original condition, with a few minor scratches and scuffs to side surfaces but no major chips, bends, dents, or dings. There is also a shallow surface scratch, about 3 in. long, to one side of one glass disc... easily flipped to underside surface. Foil tags on underside of both tables: "Architectural Supplements ®, Habitat ®, and Habitat International ® Furniture, Lighting, and Accessories", plus one table has an additional foil tag concerning the "Trexiloy ®" surface. An excellent addition to your Milo Baughman, Paul Evans, Pace, Mastercraft, Pierre Cardin, Roche Bobois, or similar high-glamour 70's modern styled living space. Shipping: of course, shipping will not be 1 cent... eBay forces a quote amount in the listing, and there are too many options. To wit: Free local pickup is available in San Diego, CA area. Delivery available for fee ($120 max.) to most of Southern California; ask for quote. FedEx Ground is possible, three packages (2 pieces glass packed together, and one each table drum) will cost about $200 max for packaging and shipping. Greyhound Package Express is also an option, but I don't recommend it since I've had trouble with them in the past (very hard on items...) If you use this option, there will be a $60 secure packaging fee, and you'll pay GPX directly for the freight charges upon pickup at your local Greyhound station. Otherwise, winning bidder will be required to arrange for own shipping-- I'd recommend Plycon or Craters and Freighters, and I can drop off at local outlet as needed. Buyer must make shipping arrangements within 2 weeks of close of auction. Winning bidder pays actual S/H/IMoney orders and PayPal ship immediately; Checks wait to clear.Items are generally shipped on Saturday following receipt of payment, though other arrangements can sometimes be made.
