This prescription was issued to Dr. J. M. Solomon, of Brattleboro, VT. Typically the physician prescribed Whiskey or Spirits Frumenti aka Whiskey.  The prescription was issued by the Treasury Department, US Internal Revenue, and is printed on fancy, orange paper!  The color and graphics are GREAT!  In the center is the old Treasury Seal with the Latin inscription, "Thesaur. Amer. Septent. Sigil.", the Rx is watermarked, "PROHIBITION". The prescription measures 9 3/4" x 4 1/4" and is in EXCELLENT condition!  Please see photos!
