Two different plates with Provenance from Alexander Gallery NY. Both Planispheres are 1862 Lithographs on Paper laid on board. The plates were adapted to Burritts Geography of the Heavens and were sold by Mason Bros.of Philadelphia and E.P.Dutton of Boston..Very Good Condition. measures approx. framed 22.5" by 22.5" and unframed 16". A wonderful Set of period lithos to display.
