My quilt listings reflect my love of vintage quilts handmade by individuals, primarily women, right here in the United States. My interest derives from a love of art, plus a serious interest in the history of women's work...so little reflected in the history books and yet so integral to who we are. This quilt has the most amazing assortment of antique fabrics I've ever seen. Hand pieced, hand quilted, with a patchwork hand binding. Thin and Lightweight, backed by muslin, it's simply an outstanding 19th Century patchwork quilt. Dimensions: 80" by 66" Condition: I've looked this quilt over pretty well, and only find one patch, one minor frayed piece, and one small piece that is gone. There are literally 100's of pieces so I might have missed something, but I don't think so. There are a couple sections on the binding that are a touch frayed, but otherwise it is completely intact. It's tight, well-designed and constructed. No holes, rips or tears. If you love antique fabric, you will love this quilt! Please visit my Ebay Store for more great quilts!
