He was given the artist name Kunichika which is a combination of the names of his two masters. His favorite subjects were Kabuki actors and historical scenes. Kunichika is considered to be one of the last masters of the traditional Ukiyo-e style. Size: 3 Joined Panels 27 1/2 x 13 1/2" Condition Notes: Exceptional Condition.  Brilliant Colors and very sharp impression.  Piece has been backed, but origanal bleed-through is still apparent.  No real defects to speak of.  Beautiful example. Artist signature, toshidama seal, and carver's mark, and censor seal are present in the print.
