Description
Hi, I have what appears to be a full size concert violin, I am in no way a violin expert nor will I say that this is the genuine piece I can read inside the label. I had a friend look at it he played it, and said it had a very nice tone and resonance to it, It looks like there was a repair done on the inside under the fingerboard and a dowel placed where the bridge is with a string still attached I do see some cracks they feel solid I believe the repairs were made only from what I can see . I read the label as listed it also says Antonius Stratovarius Cremora Faciebat 1716. The label was hard to read down the center. I have no idea who made the bow, there are no name's on it. The case is very beat up and old I know it is not the original one it says Made in USA on the back its probably time for a new one. Bid what you will, it would make a great addition to any future concert violinist or fiddle players collection. I buy more that sell so this is a new for me. I did clean it up, it was very dirty but I did not refinish it, I didn't want to ruin its value in any way. I did try to take photos of the inside with nothing visable to even post here. It is not pristine by any means but it does have a nice glow when polished Item is sold as is, Immediate payment is required, I will ship this UPS Ground, and pack it with care. Thank You, Kirk I tried to revise the photos for better viewing, my first attempt showed no detail I hope it works this time around. On Sep-06-08 at 00:43:55 PDT, seller added the following information:September 6 2008, I just want to say again, this Violin case is Shot it has lost its hardshell at the point where the accesories box is, and the latch points are breaking away. It almost looks like it was made from paper fibers then pressed. As for the violin, I think there will be one happy player out there, very nice tone and sustain. I may ship USPS Priority if I can pack it the way I like to, Properly, NO peanuts around the instrument.
