This auction is for an original and authentic pair of antique heavy metal shears or scissors which I just found as part of the contents of a local estate.  The are marked "J. Wiss & Sons, Newark, N.J. U.S.A." on the center bolt. The old scissors are heavy! and were probably used by either tailors or upholsterers back "in the day".  They are 12" long and 4" wide across the curvy handles. A lot of the original black paint is still present; there is discoloration and a small amount of surface rust on the blades; however they can be cleaned up if you like and they do open and close easily and they do cut.Thanks!
