First one of these I've seen in 10 years and the only one I've ever seen with cream bakelite and it's original copper shade . Black bakelite base has a stepped design with raised decreasing circles to the top and four feet , it's in perfect gleaming condition free from any damages or repairs , moulded makers mark to the underside of the base A "GLECO" PRODUCT MADE IN ENGLAND . Original maroon bakelite on/off switch in perfect working order. The upright is made from six cream coloured reeded bakelite columns - they're not painted but moulded in cream bakelite .All six are in perfect gleaming condition free from any damages or repairs , they are held in position to the central steel tube by stepped copper caps at the top and bottom - both copper caps are in perfect condition free from any damages or repairs. Above the top cap is another stepped copper piece turned up the other way , this supports a black stepped bakelite section which echoes the base exactly but is a little smaller - all pieces in perfect original condition . Topping the lamp is the very rare original large copper shade which is in perfect condition , retains it's original cream painted finish to the interior and the original bakelite lampholders .Fully rewired and in perfect working order . A very rare English Art Deco Streamline standard lamp which would make a stunning addition to your Modernist Mid Century home. Local pick up is preferred but I am willing to pack the lamp well if you want to send a courier , I'm also willing to ship overseas but you must supply your own shippers details . I can dismantle the lamp for safe packing in around 15 minutes and will provide step by step instructions with pictures for reassembly should anybody want them .
