This lovely set appears to be early 20th century, or possibly circa 1900, turn of the last century. It is certainly very old/antique. There are two bands of beautiful  inlay in a natural material - in the handle of the teapot, with small silver rivets - such attention to detail in items made long ago! Please see the photographs of this detail. This is such a lovely item, a true heirloom treasure, we can all hardly imagine parting with it - but sell it we should. All of the pieces are beautifully decorated with bamboo and  leaves and are all similarly marked. The length of the teapot from the handle to spout is about 23 cm, the height is about 13.5cm. The weight of the entire set is just under 1kg ( just about 1000 grams) on my kitchen scale. Unfortunately these scales are not very precise, so that is the best I can do in terms of weight, I cannot find out the weight exactly to the nearest gram. This set is in excellent condition. There is a tiny, minute, miniscule ding to the very tip of the spout, which I noticed after repeated minute inspection - this is photographed. Very lightly engraved initials R on the pieces, shown. Wear and soiling internally. The maker we unfortunately cannot identify, but the marks are photographed below for the experts. This piece was an extravagant gift to us from my late mother-in-law, and was very expensively purchased, as it is rare to find these lovely silver items in good condition and complete. All of the pieces have similar marks, and the word "silver". On all of the pieces, there is minor soiling, which can be polished off to a shine if desired.
