I believe company was bought up by the Alaska Steam Ship Co. in 1908. It has a very colorful history with the Alaska gold rush & ran Seattle, Vancouver & Alaska shipping lines. Plate is in very nice condition, 9 1/4" across, back marked John Maddock & sons England with a debossed crown. I found this during a estate clean out along with a brochure I am listing in another auction dealing with steam ship travel & the Northern Pacific RR dated 1892.
