This dining room set was made by The Banta Furniture Co. in Goshen Indiana in 1914 and is in wonderful antique condition. The date is on the back of the mirror. This beautiful dining room set is almost 100 years old. We have professionally refinished this dining room set and it is ready for you to use and enjoy in your home. Notice the progression of the pictures. I show it with no leaves, 2 leaves with 6 chairs and then with 4 leaves and 6 chairs. You do not have to separate the pedestal until you use over 2 leaves.The magnificent china cabinet stands tall and will display your fine china. There are plate groves on the shelves behind the glass door. It still has its' original curved glass.The fabulous sideboard has plenty of storage for all your fine linens. Notice the original beveled mirror. I have new felt in the drawer.The table comes with 4 - 11" leaves. The massive center pedestal has the beautiful empire feet. We have pictures of the table top in the auction, but the pictures came out pix-elated. The table, leaves and pedestal came out a shade darker than the rest of the pieces (see pictures). It is a very beautiful table in person.There are 6 beautiful chairs. We have put new upholstery and padding on the chairs. The color palette of the fabric is: faux brown leather. We reglued all of the chairs. The chairs are all tight.We take our pictures outside so you can see the detail on the set. This dining room set is a rich antique oak color. This dining room set is absolutely gorgeous. Everything is sturdy about the set.When we restore a dining room set in our shop it is ready for you to enjoy in your home.
